mr.godlncorporated.this is an awesome video. but the way it depicted the harsh affect. i think its not at all a 100% true verdict, there are around 5000 families who r earning their livelyhood through workin in UCIL Jaduguda nd its other projects which is the sole bread earner for almost all of them this video doesn't describe the problems of buddha
The video maker of "Budha weeps at Jadugoda" gave another video to the Indian Doctors for Peace and Development. They are showing it widely along with a totally flawed "health study",they allegedly carried out in the the Jadugoda villages
IDPD received US $20,000 from The Ploughshares Fund" a US based NGO to carry out the anti uranium mining activity in India.
Supreme Court of India dismissed a petition (No 188 of 1999)asking for judicial intervention in Jadugoda, as the petition had no merit
This video is a collection of scenes and quotes deliberately used to bias the viewer to a certain point of view. It is taken by a group of activists who are intentionally using the visual medium to confuse the viewer and to make him believe that all the maladies in Jadugoda is due to uranium mining. Many scientifically unsupported statements and claims are made wantonly to scare the innocent villagers.
I know some of these scare pictures have been taken randomly from cyperspace but please don't tell me that Uranium even an low ore state doesn't have the potential to kill. Those killed will suffer the least. The FIRST thing India must do is come to grips with its population problem. There is no way that India can live much longer with polluted soil and water, killing every animal to make room for people who will soon die of starvation anyway. What kind of policy is that? A Chinese one?
