I am the same way but I do not believe that the word god is well defined enough, when asked if I believe in the Arabic god or the Hindu god I would say I am an atheist but if asked if I believe in a higher power I would say I am Ignostic in that sense... would you still consider god to be god if this whole universe was created by him by accident or if he created it then abandoned it or if he really doesn't give a shit about it, which I doubt he does in entirety if he does exist.
