He is bringing something new to the table. That by itself is worth something. Iranian music has been in degenerating in the past 20 years or so.

If you don't like it, move on and listen to something else. There are plenty of the "same old stuff" on Iranian TVs already.

But I think they should let him do his work and they could also just follow their own work. Maybe someday both Namjoo and the others will be able to create some more beutiful iranian music together?! I think these videos are a sincere presentation of him and he is proud of him self (including his background and his way of thinking). Keep up the good work Mohsen Namjoo! :) By the way, where can I buy your music??

And the videos about him is one of his ways to be innovative and most of all to be heared. I think some people are defending the old too much and are taking his way of thinking too personally. The established musicians in Iran take his music as something offensive.
