**Update 24 Jan 2009. I regret that the original audio in this video has been blocked by Warner Music Group claiming copyright in the music, "Girl Don't Come". The audio now playing is from YouTube's "audio swap" library, and has nothing to do with Sandie Shaw or her music - this is Alicia Keys singing "Wake Up". I've decided to keep this video on YT with the wrong audio for the time being. I guess this is all part of the current dispute between YT and Warner Music. Thanks to J Records for making this Alicia Keys track freely available to YouTube members in return for a link to purchase the music - something that Warner could easily have done. If you enjoy Alicia Keys music (as I do), please support J Records, and show Warner how a more enlightened approach can work.**
Two clips of Sandie Shaw singing 'Girl Don't Come'. The first is from Ready Steady Go in Dec 1964, introduced by Keith Fordyce and Cathy McGowan. The second clip is an acoustic duet with the group Salad, on UK TV music show The White Room in March 1996, introduced by Mark Radcliffe.

Hey I read on her website she sold the rights to her songs to EMI...so who knows very stupid though as I listen to music on here that I like and go out and buy it...but maybe its a jew mentality - they dont give naything away for free
what's sad is they replace the classic(hardly not bringing in money) with some trashy rap/r&b song. At my age I have no interest in 50cent or Jayz. I want to hear real music for once. Curse you WB.
Warner? Warner? But, Warner didn't compose this song. Sandra Shaw/Sandra Dee composed it. But, I can see where it would be confusing. I mean, does each multiple personality have the right to her own lawyer? Scam artists caused Audrey Hepburn to turn to MGM and she owned Universal. Scam artists caused Estelle Parsons/Angelina Piers to market Fox studios and go to Channel 7 though she owned Channel 2 the competition. Who owns what? Let's put all the cards on the table & bring in the contracts eh?
I look at it like this: when I'm thinking of buying a CD or MP3 in future I'll see if it's from Warner. If it is the audio and my wallet will be blocked.
