（Little Big Planet）リトルビッグプラネットでグラディウス１面

i'm a little bit confused. Is the sackboy BEHIND the scenery or in the box directly connected to the ship? This level would be fairly easy to make if he was just connected to a box. I'm working a similar concept and I just thought of this and wanted to see how he did it.

You're right in both ways hes in a box behind the scenery, they give him a jetpack so he can move the plane and he grabs on to shoot.

also i dont get how the plane is attached to the box and at the beggining the plane falls out of nowhere, this is very confusing.
