I am breastfeeding and sometimes need to do it in a public place. It speaks for itself that I won't hang my boobs in someone elses face or plate and try to conceile any detail by wearing nursing tops and sitting in a discreate place. Not only do I not want to embarress others but would feel uncomfotable to have people staring at me. Still I think we have a right to do the most natural thing there is. A baby or child needs to feed and should ideally do this by breastfeeding!

Breast feeding is the most natural thing on the planet and I believe that the law shouldn't tell a woman she can't do it in public.

However, I do believe that women need to be a little modest about it (don't just whip out your breast and let the baby have at it). Nowadays there are great nursing bras and tanktops, blankets and covers for that purpose.

If a woman weren't breast feeding and she were to expose her breasts in public (even in a non-sexual manner), she would be ticketed or fined.

this is the weirdest thing i have ever seen. Sure thing guys feed your kids whenever they need it, but like buddy boy said earlier be modest. peeple dont get naked and pee in the streets, i dont need to see your boobs. genuinely. and "breastfeeding at any age" - this literally disgusts me, will someone please arrest this woman. or at least tell her how much of a mentalist she is. its not right to breastfeed your kids wen theyre old enough to walk. get a grip.

Breast feeding is the most natural thing in the world and personally I wouldn't be embarrassed by seeing a woman in public breast feeding, however SOME women who want to breast feed in public do not make any attempt to do in a modest way so as not to cause embarrassment to those around them. But I feel sorry for any man who happens to catch a glimpse and then gets shouted at, called a sex pest, pervert, rapist, etc. I've seen it happen.

agreed. Be modest when you breastfeed. Urination and defication are natural too but people don't do that in front of others if there is any way of having privacy.

OMG! Get over it already! This is the first generation that has a problem with breastfeeding, talk to your Grandma, she breastfed and no one even thought twice about it. GET OVER IT!
