Four Women Nina Simone

Theres no such thing as "black" and "white" or "brown" or "yellow" as a race, be it for people from Africa or people from Asia, Europe, or anywhere, race is a man-made invention and means nothing, if we can make it, we can unmake it, and I hope one day that will happen.

This is one of my favorite Nina Simone's songs. And Yes, blacks come in different colors. Thank you for posting this moving song.

I think that we are desperate sex. We have some kind of absurd luxury. The woman is the ultimate and I am a man woman, men just trying to get the place look brighter. Therefore male bird have brighter feathers, men have to try to justify its existence. Look at how little we do for the future of our race.

hmmm....strange.....why anybody would think of it as not bein about the struggles of black women throughout time is beyond me....except 4 the lyrics clearly reffering to the theme throughout the whole duration of the song its also in the intensity with which she sings the song and take one look at all that shes done and you'll see that there aint no mistakin about what the song is about...if you neglect that youre missing the whole point of this and many more of Nina Simones songs.

Love the voice, the lirycs and the feeling.
One of the greatest female voices (along with Amália Rodrigues) ;)

It is about four generations of Black women and how their experiences effect how they receive the world.
