I would like to say that coming from south asia, music is probably the only way people can come together. It is really a beautiful thing. If it is wrong, then I have a question, what is right. Nothing is right. Once you deem honorable intentions as evil, humanity loses it way.

I am from London and a musician and I whole heartedly agree with you. Music is a wonderful unifier and a divine experience for those listening or playing every where in the world. Very true, I often see these puritanicle Muslims leave comments of music being haraam in Sami Yusuf videos! For crying out loud Sami Yusuf is singing about God and people are condemning him? Ridiculous! I would say music that talks about sex,violence or drugs is bad but not music for God or good things.
