the (sad, stupid) fact is that the directors or the R&R hall of fame always said something like "no prog bands will ever pass these doors", just out of personal preferences. that kinda sucks.

Phil had a serious injury to his back and may possibly never play again. It's not in stone just yet. But, the whole thing stinks, man.

I see your point, they should have been inducted long before now. And it is kind of a joke...ABBA were inducted?? Please!! Regardless, it would be amazing to see them all perform, but what has happened to Phil? I haven't heard.

F-ck the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Genesis should have been inducted back in 1992. They are just now getting to them? And, let's not hold our breaths for a reunion. We all now how Peter is about it. Plus, Phil can't play drums as of now - possibly ever again. Good timing, RRHOF. The Hall Of Fame (& The IRS-don't ask) can go f-ck themselves. But, I digress. This tune & the group (from every era & period) are superb!

No matter if Gabriel wants to or not, they'll only be able to perform (as a five piece band) at the ceremony if Phil is ever gonna be able to play drums again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed of course.
