In 2009, a new American President takes office.
If Condi is not President, it'll be lonesome ...
After all, Condi has said she won't run for President and although we are trying to draft her to being a candidate anyway, it is certainly possible that someone else could be elected president in 2008 and so 2009 could see Condi out of office and no longer to the fore in American affairs of state.
In 2009, we might be deprived of Condi as she could be out of sight in a University ivory tower or somewhere.
So an America without Condi (running things) is imaginable and that is what my latest music video laments, employing the music of Elvis Presley to sing the part of a possible future Condi asking Americans "Are you lonesome tonight?" without her leadership.
In association with Rice for President Yahoo Group.

State Dept.: Rice Does Not Want to Be VP, Period WASHINGTON — U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says repeatedly she does not "do politics" but her name keeps popping up as a potential running mate for Sen. John McCain, the Republican presidential candidate. Rice's spokesman tried yet again on Monday to quash reports that Rice wants the No. 2 spot on the Republican ticket but blogs and political Web sites are still buzzing.

Er, no, actually after the period Ike was elected President. Likewise with Condi.
