just as long as you guys understand thom is not religious. Thom also wrote pyramid...Thom was also in the video there there.. atheism is not evil, and thom has helped me understand that there are beautiful things in religion that even atheists can admire

i really don't think this version of the song has a coldplay feel to it whatsoever, nor does the song itself in general regardless of the version. radiohead's music tends to be much more searching, deep, and comparatively abstract when compared to coldplay's radio-friendly (which is NOT a bad thing) and upbeat patterns

lyrically its much more searching than anything of coldplays and the lyrics were kept. ed's sampling/looping didnt have the feel of coldplay and was kept. jonnys guitar wasnt original and was dropped. the cliche bridge going up and down the scale was dropped. these were areas altered during the studio because they made it more original. i feel the coldplay feel to it comes from this largely unoriginal arrangement, and the easy 3 chord cycle of A C# and E. i do love this version though :)

No, this does not have a Coldplay feel to it. Coldplay is melodic, but diluted. Radiohead is powerful.

i agree sort of, but coldplay has copied off radiohead from the start, not the other way around.
