Did you know that General Chuck E Yeager the first man to break the sound barrior was born up there with the hillbilllys.
very poor people, but their ability to live off of the land is something we could never do.
I respect them for that.

The boy playing the banjo was played by an actor called Billy Reden, who couldn't play the instrument, and wasn't inbred!. A very good player was actually behind him playing the instrument, shot in such a way that you couldn't see him.
