Yup. Excellent song, very sweet and moving. Polishes off every great episode so nicely.

Hey man,
Tripitaka was neither woman or man really, she/he was the embodiment of the three ancient texts (hence 'tri') of the buddhist canon - The Vinaya Pitaka, the Sutra Pitaka and the Abhidharma Pitaka. The story's abstract meaning was about the 'apostles' (for want of a better word) of the buddhist religion as they travelled to bring it to the people. Along with some awesome fight scenes and some random animal.humans, this was the best show EVER!

Wowee. That was amazing. I've thought about this song so many times on my travels through life. Takes me straight back to late eighties, early nineties Australia, on ABC. This song means alot to me.

I was surprised to know that the show was aired and have a lot of fan in UK, not only in Japan. The song is performed by GODIEGO, a Japanese band. The vocalist is a native Japanese. I am curious if his English is OK? It is said that his pronunciation is not good among Japanese audience, but I don't think so.

His pronunciation is very, very good...I remember the show when I lived in Dominican Republic, It was aired there from 1982/3 to...I believe 1990/1, and was dubbed in Spanish, it was a huge success there, everybody talk about it and every friend of mine still remembers those wonderful moments, I also remember that we nicknamed one of our friends "Pigsy" lol!

His English is so good I thought he was not Japanese. His pronunciation is no more poor than any other performer but certainly it is highly convincing as non oriental, if not American or English.
