One of my favourite poems - I love to read it when I feel a bit blue or ill; it always cheers me up and brings back lovely memories of Grantchester.

he pronounces a number of place names incorrectly (such as Haslingfield, Babraham, Coton), but this is understandable. It is nonetheless a stunning interpretation of this masterpiece

-town names are always a problem -but glad you liked it.
Its one of my favourites.
I have a version read by Eleanor Bron too which I like -but it is written from a male so this vision is probably better.
