I love this song,life was shitty for me when this song was popular,this song brought a huge smile to my heart!!

I believe the 80's had some good stuff. But musically, it doesn't compare to the music of the 60's, 70's, or 90's. The only decade that makes the 80's look better in comparison is the 2000's. But when an 80's song was good, it was great! But when an 80's song was bad, it was god awful! Overall, the early 80's music (1980-1983, maybe '84) was mostly great! The middle part and latter part of the decade it sucked, mostly. This is all just my opinion. Still, I'm not an 80's hater. I'm a 2000's hater

Any decade where Phil Collins has successive chart hits is not a good decade for music.
Never mind that Phil Collins isn't even the worst musical act to get airplay that decade.
Oh, and this song is awful.

If you were an 80's child-meaning-a boy at that age-you would have appriciated the corniness of ET-COMERCIALS-& This video along with other great artist. If you were born in the 90's-you need a lot of lavour in you to apprciate this vision.

I find it pretty bullshit that Blender ranks this as "Worst Song Ever". They were even ballsy enough to list a Beatles song, and The Final Countdown by Eurpoe in there. If you really want a horrible song, ever heard of SlipKnot?
