Lovely soprano, does anyone know who she is? (And if the person on screen is the person singing?)

I know that Beethoven's father drove him hard as a child and tried to make him a Mozart-like prodigy, but is there evidence that he was really this nasty?

look at Michael Jackson's Father , who knows, Beethoven's father could of been worse. Any guy that drinks heavily around his kids can be really bad, worse than anything they are portraying in this Documentary. Alot of drinking (HEAVY Drinking , not just a few beers on the seekend or after work) father's can smash thier kids up when they are too drunk. So who knows how bad Beethoven's father could of been.

Yes, you can write music in any form today. There are rules/guidelines that he followed when writing them. The sonata form is very detailed.
