It seems Buddy keeps getting bigger over time. And Elvis seems to be getting less popular as time progresses. It may be that Buddy wrote his music and Elvis didn't. I think Elvis did have one of the great voices of all time.
I agree with you that Buddy was a song writer in addition to singing, as Elvis was not. However, I do not agree that Elvis is losing popularity and Buddy is gaining...I can see no indication of Buddy gaining any more popularity than he already has. He was a fine singer and his early death may lead one to think that....
