With John, he wasn't the most 'gifted' dancer, but he did have rhythm. Which Gary Rhodes nor Quentin or the GMTV woman with Brendon.

hopefully kristina gets a better partner next year cause it was quite unfair having john as a p[artner buts its so funny seeing him dance i wish he didn't leave

It's not a dance contest but a popularity contest. They might as well do away with the judges. I reckon John Sargent would have one if he stayed in and then what would have been the point of the show then?

That's essentially why he chose to quite - he realised there was actually a very real chance that he would winning. I don't think they ever released the official voting figures but allegedly, John was was whipping everyone in the phone vote by a huge margin.
