not the religion to be blamed but rather people
for example if you drive your car reklessly and dont obey the traffic rules then you would be the one to blame not the traffic rules or the government
all the sacred religions have great messages.

just finished this book. and khaled's writings are just magical.. I can't wait for other books from khaled to come, hopefully. im just blown away. this by far is the best book ive ever read.

A fantastic book. In these countries leaders and governments come and go but the sufferings of women only get worse. Compared to the life of these women, Hassan's life in the Kite Runner is paradise. I just cannot understand how any religion can call itself great and yet treat half its population, that is women, as worse than dirt, even in this day and age.
