Great Job MAn,George sang it first I believe and had a slower temple,yours was more like Elvis with the faster temple. I like both,just depends the mood your in. Actually I like the faster verson which you did . Keep it up.

Wasn't it originally George Jones' song? Not to take anything away from it, but your description says its a Costello number, but he did a cover it, not the original, methinks.

Yes I do believe you are right. If you look at the first comment left on this video, they mention George Jones as the first performer, but not the writer. Apparently it was written by "Jerry Chestnut"
