Lyrics: Guess I'll have to get out of this town No sense in my waiting around Only thing left for me here is pain She's gone for sure now why pretend Left last night with a friend Leaving not a word that would explain
That was only yesterday But will I ever face tomorrow She took away what I'd had And returned it full of sorrow
That was only yesterday Will I ever face tomorrow She took away what I'd had And returned it full of sorrow
I think I better find somewhere A place where I won't care I need some time to hide my shame Was only just one day ago Found what I'd been searching for Had left town on a late night train
And that was only yesterday But will I ever face tomorrow She took away what I'd had And returned it full of sorrow
That was only yesterday Will I ever face tomorrow She took away what I'd had And returned it full of sorrow That was only yesterday Will I ever face tomorrow She took away what I'd had And returned it full of sorrow

Yeah man, i listen to a lot of music from those two decades, mostly rock, and sometimes i like to imagine as hard as i can what it was like to experience the life of music back in those days. Little things like going to a shop that sells old vinyls or watching these vids can tell us a lot, though we may never really know.
I always thought that not great rock music came from Germany although Can and Kraftwerk are great but the Germans always had great taste when it came to classic rock and this is another example of why. Great post and thank you.

Singers today try to be acrobats and show offs and that really sucks.
