i dont remember this game, i was 4. but i remember enough about burnden. magic. faded blue seats where i was, low seats-(often blocked view), standing often, real crowd atmosphere.a guy infront of me i remember doing a diving header to head the ball back into play (things like that stand out when i was so young) hardly remember any games.

but i remember sayin i 'fancy' john mcginlay-ofc i didnt understand the word enough to use it and my sister took great delight in laughing at me

I envy those who fully remember the old Burnden ground.I went many times, but i was only about 4 or 5 so i didnt truly understand the passion surrounding the club, when it was filled almost every week, i just wish we saw that, fully packed out every week now. Come on you white men!

Ok it was a great win and superb performance by Bolton who were two divisions below us that season. but let's face it, that was our worst team and worst season in a long long time. Every team fancied their chances against us, including 3rd division Chesterfield who got a 4-4 draw at anfield!! only season that can be compared to this is 98/99 when we had the brilliant idea of having TWO managers at the start.

hey
it´s like Cordoba 1976, when Austria won against Germany in the wold-Championschip.
Liverpool is one of the richest Teams all over the world, but they can not win everytime.
Bolton played wonderful and they won.
Congratulation Bolton and good luck for the season to Liverpool and Bolton

greets from Austria
