@patramage and By the way..Douglas company had to say thanks to piaggio because in 1948 was bankrupt and the managing director Claude McCormack made some arrangements with Piaggio to build it under licence in Bristol

@patramage put on pause this movie @0:56 Are you able to see the symbol "P"??? Well it means Piaggio!!!!
In italian "Vespa" means Wasp..They called it with that name because of the shape and the noisy sound of its engine. "It seems a Wasp", said Enrico Piaggio when he saw the prototype of this bike made by the engineer Corradinio D'Ascanio. Patented on April 23th 1946. This is Italian History. Should i doubt the credentials of your Queen Elizabeth?? Of course no..so pls respect

piaggio opened the factorys in india and spain and piaggio was getting some of the profits the factorys made but the indian factory is still open today because they sell alot of them there and you can pay £1600 for a brand new PX here in England imported from india :D there not as good as the italian vespas tho and the factorys made there scooter a bit different from each other spanish vespas had larger tool boxes then the italian or indian vespas and they sometimes used the same colour wire
