My Lasik Eye Surgery

Don't do LASIK, it's a scam. These LASIK doctors know there are long-term damages to every LASIK procedure that start to show up after 3,4,5 year, yet their staff is trained to lie to the patients saying they're gettin better, when they are getting worse! Here are websites warning you:

I had PRK. I was too chicken to do Lasik because of the cutting. Plus, Lasik is higher risk.

Only thing that sucks about PRK is you need to take off a few days from work because you can't really function for the first 2 or 3 days. But after the first week its basically the same result.

Will your vision still be awesome in a few years time?

I did once consider LASIK as I'm somewhat myopic. But then I had doubts about what happens in the long term, like 5-10 years away. So I wear glasses to see intermediate and distance, but don't need them for reading.

Indeed sttck with glasses or contacts... that's very good advice.

Oh this is just gross. Reminds me of the 'eye scene' from A Clockwork Orange but much worse.

As my prescription is only -0.5 for the left and -0.75 for the right, I will stay with glasses for medium and distance rather than going through the torture of LASIK.

lol this make me uneasy about eye surgery now, but got me an idea on being a doctor for some reason about the $3,000

i have a question what do you mean with a lasik eye? is that the same like when you can't look far because its wuzzy?
