"Just For The Record" - Opening Credits

I thought this was on during the summer of 1991.

Hi md63ki2, as far I know this show was only on during the summers of both 1989 & 1990. I don't ever remember it being on in summer 1991, when Glenn Kinsey was presenting CITV mornings, but it may well have been. Does anyone know for sure? Anyway, what a great show it was with a brilliant theme tune!...

Hi @crunkbeatz, yes it's a great theme tune isn't it? Why didn't they release it as a single in the UK back in '89/'90? With all things Australian doing really well at that time, I'm sure it would've been a hit in the charts.

I've got the opening and closing theme to Just for the Record on video tape, but I have no idea how to upload onto You Tube! If anyone wants to let me know how to do it then I'll have a go.

I remember Adventures on Kythera very well- that was from the summer of 91. I can still hear the theme song in my head.

Does anybody remember,or have footage of The Haunted School? It was on citv on the summer mornings around this time of Just for the Record here,and it was set in Australia in the 1800s I think. It was a short series- a handful of episodes.

I loved "The Haunted School". It was a TV version of Carol Drinkwater's novel set in the Australian outback. A woman sets up an English style school in what used to be the town inn. Speculation is rife in the town that the building is dangerous, having already claimed two lives. Carol Drinkwater's character faced a lot of opposition from the locals. I would love to see this again.
