Oh yeah, you didn't do the boss trick though, looks like you almost had it. Shoot the floating guns and destroy them when they are spinning.

Pretty good, you can max 191 to mid boss then 61.

this! Even though Compile makes some amazing vertical shmups [Super Aleste, Zanac X Zanac, Guardian Legend, etc], this game beats MUSHA by far.

DoDonPachi.

Very well rounded game with a great scoring system, lots of depth in gameplay, and enough challenge to even keep the hardcore coming back.

MUSHA is still great, but DDP is the king of shmups.

Depends on the ship you use. There seems to be mutual agreement on these types being better though:

Type A: Laser
Type B: Debatable
Type C: Shot

a mutually agreement that something is debatable, that doesnt really make any sense ;-)

but yea, i tend to have more fun playing w/ type A (he's right, laser is better for it), but if u want high scores, C w/ shot is the way to go.

500+ million with A-LASER PROMETHEUS

world record is like 700 mil if I recall and it's type b, can't remember SHOT or LASER though
