Maybe it could possibly be a good thing, and NOTexcessively secretive that we dont advertise the whereabouts of our military bases, or our Atomic Weapons sites, or our arms dumps to anyone who can buy a map. i could be wrong, but MAYBE it COULD be seen to be in the interests of our national security... I like Mark Thomas, and I think he is fascinating, but I find this documentary a little odd, and slightly pointless.
I see your point but maybe if folk where abit more open about their Weapons of Mass Destruction and mass harm capabilities, other folk would feel a little less paranoid and feel a little less threatened. Thus eliminating the need for this concept of national security.
I'm pretty sure secret stashes of powerful weapons can only ever be a bad thing. Hey maybe we could set an example with this to the rest of the world - and be alittle less hypocritical?
hey, what a great idea! You are right too, keeping the location of military grade weaponry secret is indeed "a bad thing". By the way, I wouldnt want to live in a nation which doesnt have a concept of national security. But wait! What about all the people in the world who dont believe that clouds are made from candy-floss, and that we are a great nation? Maybe it would be quite handy to keep our weapons bases a secret from them? IN CASE THEY TRY TO BLOW THEM UP OR STEAL THEM YOU FUCKING SPAZ
its a fucking sad reflection on how news is shown on tv when people like Mark Thomas have had their show scrapped by channel 4., When the guy reports what we need to hear ,But channel 4 lost their balls years ago, and became yet another chewing gum for the mind station. We need far more shows in the same vain of Marks to finally get the message across that if we dont fight back we are going to be so screwed even more so then we have ever been
the reason why i think the tv has gone down hill is to make us comfortable when switch to digital happens as you will notice the crap production values of digital tv shows. Nothing to highbrow as the world wants to keep us stupid and not think.I want my TV shows to look like a dusty old library, no wonder people are turning off and watching on line as at least you can pick stuff for you
