-Supporting Actress: Amy Adams -Supporting Actor: Heath Ledger -Lead Actress: Kate Winslet (because that was HER year, but I think Meryl Streep's performance was slightly better) -Lead Actor: Mickey Rourke (because he would never have that role/chance again, but I think Sean Penn's performance was better) -Director: David Fincher -Original Screenplay: Wall-E -Adapted Screenplay: The Reader -Animated Feature: Wall-E -Picture: Wall-E (but of the nominees, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button)
Clint Eastwood defintaly should have got some credit for Gran Torino that was one of the best films of the year! also I was very shocked that robert downey Jr. got a nomination, Tropic Thunder was funny bu I think they could have put a more worthy actor for that
I'm glad Angelina got a nomination for her wonderful performance in Changeling. But she was also snubbed for her best work in A Mighty Heart and Playing By Heart.
Also, I don't think Robert Downey Junior should have been nominated. Especially for Tropic Thunder, it is not an oscar worthy performance at all. And I thought Leonardo Dicaprio would've got a nomination for Revolutionary Road.
