I was at the concert in the Melkweg Amsterdam in the year 1990. And then it happened to me, since then my soul belongs to her, angel, goddess. Her voice puts a spell on you she makes you want to jump from joy and cry at the same time. Only, and only the guitar play from David Gavurin is good enough to a company her. Normally I am a rational person, but not so when Harriet sings.
Thank you for this. It seems that teir music is turning up everywhere. When "Blind" was released, there wasn't even a photo of any of the band anywhere, let alone a great video like this. THANK YOU!
Ok, so I guess I have been making up my own lyrics to this song for almost 20yrs...sometimes it's just so hard to make out what she is singing. Harriet could sing the alphabet and I would still be blissfully happy listening to her voice. It's just simple beautiful music.
"The Lone Ranger sold his wardrobe, the Lone Ranger sold his bad dog. Well, you saw him and you could hardly know cause times change, I know. Some days he's more than humble, on some days he's cold and mad, mad as hell. Well, you saw him and you can hardly know, it's so strange And well I, I know.
Those lakes of golden water, those lakes of gold are all running out. Well, you saw him and you could hardly know, it's so strange and well I, I know."
Agreed one of the great mysteries of life why I had to hear song after song of junk in the late 80's and early 90's and was only turned on to these guys on the midshift at Little Creek.
omg i felt such a sensation of pure beautyful heaven when her vocal tone hit the note at 0:51 such a beautyful feeling when her voice hit that note, pure total heaven! amazing
