You are missing the point. Ron Ryan co-wrote Bits & Pieces, wrote Any Way You Want It and Because. Dave Clark took credit for writing those songs even though he didn't write one note or lyric. He had promised Ron that he would get credit and royalties, but never did.

I've talked to Ron Ryan. Mike Smith wrote what he wrote. Dave Clark didn't write a darn thing, he just took credit for other people's work. The worse thing about that is that he didn't take care of the people who helped him. What a totally selfish a-hole Clark is.
