unlike those other nutty videos, we have the sound of your voice to compare with the background noise... if you cranked the volume up high enough to hear the blade turbulence, your voice would probably blow my speakers.

people are selfish, and don't care if their desires are detrimental to improvement in the world.

Noise - you don't know the half of it!!! Check out this Nuke power plant carrying out its regular siren testing, see NHEQaXqaIv4, it does this regularly!!! And anyway, why does it need a siren, is it to warn everyone to run for their lives when it all starts to go wrong!! Give me wind power any day!!

Keep up the good work Windpowerrocks! ;-))))

At last, a voice of reason. Wind, tidal, on-shore, off-shore, bio-gas, whatever, isn't the answer. Dependency is the problem and renewables aren't the answer. When windpowerroocks wakes up and smells the coffee, he might just realise this. In the mentime, let's hope we don't manage to screw up enough of the countryside in this ill-though out renewables policy.

dude, you wouldn't know a 'voice of reason' if it promised to give you a blow job. You have failed to answer any of the points I have put to you in several postings. You have no answers to the demands of climate change or energy security. This is for all to see in your silly contributions so far. What exactly is it that you are interested in?

If it's not renewable, then you're dependent on it. What else would be the answer? Your argument makes no sense.

Hi Peanuts,
I agree that wind can't do it all and that we need an energy mix. Let's say, for example, that we did go for 'some' nuclear as you suggest. There is only just about enough uranium for one more generation of nuclear power stations. We'd still have to come back to renewables afterwards.
You might be interested to know that tidal turbines are not far away. There's one called SeaGen that's being trialed at the mo.
I'm no fan of nuclear: it's dirty, dangerous and expensive.
