This version of "Hiawatha Rag" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Tuesday, September 30th. 2007 by John Everett's Red Dragon Jazzmen. This session was again notable for the contribution of John Everett on trumpet following his heart surgery....his first full session without a "back-up" trumpet player was excellent, with great support from the rest of the band who are listed at the end of the video. Sessions at the Harp are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Details from John or Marie Howell on 01902 756158 See us at www.jazzclub90.supanet.com

Thanks ever so much for this. I enjoyed it a lot! The composer, of course, is Neil Moret, real name Charles Daniels. The title is sometimes confused with Kerry Mills' "Hiawatha" -- another fine tune!
