I've noticed that when the women are ballroom dancing they always tilt their head back in an exaggerated motion. Why do they do that? You would think it would look better if they looked at each other.
@evolownfate that's how standard ballroom is danced... women really have what they call "shaping"... even in waltz, tango, foxtrot... they are supposed to be poised to the left (so as the men)... this will let them keep their balance...
@musicguy206 That's because the real and only waltz steps are these and nothing what you see on 'dancing with the stars' and other such tv shows. Trust me, it's way more difficult to do this! And the viennese waltz is one, if not the hardest, dance.
