Atheism means "without belief in God." It is not a religion as KOTS said. A religion implies beliefs about the world. Simply thinking that something is highly improbable does not incorporate faith. For example, you know, I seriously doubt the Lochness Monster exists. Sure, I know plenty of people have seen it and all, based their life around trying to find it & prove its existence, but... I'm just not sold on it. I don't think its there. I'm not religious for NOT believing in the monster.

Agreed. Ppl are so ignorant. Calling atheism religion is like calling bald a haircolor. It's absence of hair, how can it be a color?
Someone needs to look up the definition of THEISM, then apply the PREFIX "A" to that.
BTW, no Lochness. This man admitted to using a toy submarine with an apparatus on it. It's a little known fact because it is hidden since SO MANY groups of people make $ off of it in TV programming, websites, books, Scotland tourism and such..
