Isn't this the opening to the Overture? Like, where's the rest of the Overture? That's what I meant.

John, Liszt titled this specifically as an arrangement of the Pilgrim's Chorus, not of the overture as a whole. Tomasz's performance is just as Liszt wrote it. Best regards, David

The pedaling was a bit muddled, but it was just beautiful. It was artfully done, as he took his time to show the piece some love, changed the dynamics very well and in his own way, his tone was excellent, and it feels he gave the piece more than one climax. Thank you for sharing this performance.
