Wow gothchick. You would replace one unpopular dictator whos power is limited by a media that hates him, with a smooth, pretty, and obviously more capable Dictator, the the media adores. I prefer leaders that everyone keeps an eye on, like Bush, to another, like Obama, that has the MSM in his pocket. Indoctrination must be hoot. Enjoy.

instead of bragging by calling people ignorants, could you please quote correctly... And the correct naming is habeas corpus ad subjiciendum et recipiendum.
Thank you.

It is wrongly abbreviated "habeas corpus". For "habeas corpus" only refers to "have the body". Whereas, your quotation was reffering to "can't be be put into jail without a proper reason". So, the correct latin quotation for this is : "habeas corpus ad subjiciendum et recipiendum." which would litterally mean that one has to be presented to the court to hear the motives of his detention in view of being judged.

same difference!!! lol...to me its easier to say Habeas corpus than the "real version" and im pretty sure thats how it is referred to informally...not legal documents

Consequently, have the decency not to treat others "ignorants" and keep some humility regarding quotations.
Have a wonderful day.

If I'm not wrong "habeas corpus" translates "You shall have the body". My latin is a bit rusty.

But you are right about what it stands for.

It also has been suspended many times in the history of the United States. Most notably by Abraham Lincoln. Although I would like to know how the writ of habeas corpus, guarenteed in the Constitution, can be granted to non US citizens?
