why don't you people go live in the mountains by yourself if you are so worried about it - eat some twigs and berries and plant some seeds.

because me, I'm going to litter, pollute and drive my disel sucking 4x4 up and down your street spewing exhaust everywhere and there is not a damn thing that you or anyone else is gonna do about it.

have a nice day! :-)

Humanism: we must count on Men and WOmen to reverse history. Nature is another thing to rethink for the challenged economy. Some may feel that economical activity is by human nature destructive to the scientific 'nature'.

We need to start watching out for our environment, for everyone's sakes, and soon. I'm hopeful that Obama will lead the way for our country and get us on the path to alternative energy. I love you, Greenpeace, for making sure we're all informed of what's going on in our government and throughout the world, and helping us to take action. =)

Although I admire President-elect Obama, and have supported him by donating, volunteering, etc., people treat him like he's a rock star.
He's not a celebrity, he's an extremely intelligent MAN. Not a god. Sorry.

As much as I like Obama I invested my vote for the Green Party for change we can live with. I realize economics has determined that oil is king but we should be using that oil to create an infrastructure that will run on energy from the Sun which includes hydroelectric, wind, ethanol and bio-diesel. Note that the current use of feed crops, corn and beans, to create ethanol and bio-diesel are just driving the price of food up.
