I never had any problem with the Apple care plan. They have the best customer service I've seen in computer manufacturers. I sent my MacBook in for repair three times while I had it and they paid for everything including next day shipping.
The problem I have with Apple is that they have a very closed platform in my opinion, Just imagine if everyone switched to Mac. They would be the only personal computer manufacturer. This would mean they wouldn't need to innovate or care about their customers.
