Is the explosion activated by collision or button press?

Its done by both. You want all your explosions to be button press though, or you loose your quickens

The explosion is activated by button press. collision means -5seconds and you are restarted without explosion.

its in away like that old asteroid game, how asteroids come and your the rocket trying to shoot them. But in EEE, the "asteroid things" come in sets as you can see. When they all come together in a big group, you have to explode your self next to them and cause a chain reaction of explosions. Then they turn into points that you have to collect without trying to touch the unexploded things because they can still kill you. The more points you collect, the more lives you get back.

I've been looking also. I like the 3rd Stages music and others that I haven't heard in a long while

damn this game is the reason i brought so many psp's all my friends say the game isn't worth 30 bucks but i would play this before any psp game... well beside gunpey
