This is David Brewis, he writes in two bands (Field Music, School of Language) and contributes in another two (The Week That Was, John Munroe). He is a superb guitarist/singer/bassist/drumm er. All of these acts are under the umbrella of Field Music who used to be just a band but are becoming more of a production company. There's so much to say about him, he's brilliant. He runs his own studio in Sunderland and is a very accomplished producer in his own right.
Watch out for his future releases.

I bought the album Sea From Shore last year on the strength of this song. The album as a whole is not great, but this rocks. This sounds slightly different from the version on my album. Has it been re-recorded to be released as a single? The drum rhythm here suits the song WAY better than on my album. This is great. Can anyone explain this difference?
