But why? its keyboard music! Do we not have enugh truly wonderful music composed for the harp that is ignored by modern players in favour of playing transcription...I guess becaus the composer's names aren't big enough...

@debisavannah2 the strings are coloured... all the Cs are in red, the Fs are in black/dark blue so we don't have to count from scratch every time.
and yes there is plenty of music written for it. most famous from the baroque period is Handel's Harp Concerto. in the last 200 years or so though, there has been an explosion in the harp repertoire as harp players start to compose harp music for the instrument they know best.

@marijkespirit i managed to find it today! :D:D you can find it as well by going to catrinfinch(dot)com and then clicking on 'Goldberg' and scrolling down until you see
"And........if you're a harpist, you may be interested in the Goldberg Variations to learn yourself. Catrin's transcription has been published by Alaw Music, and is available to purchase here"
good luck and have fun! i'm probably going to order a copy myself too ^^

Of course there is music written for harp! As for the technic, it's something that is learnable.
