If you want to help urban America leave the republican party and come and help our communities with actions not words. I'm no fan of the liberals but they at times volunteer in our communities. The only time conservatives come to our communities is when they take a wrong exit. If you want the Hip Hop community stand up to your party and demand they stop demonizing us, stand up to the angry white man movement which has been a safe haven for watered down white supremacist ideologies. Keep the GOP out of urban America. It has done enough damage to our communities as it is. Its think tanks and media mouth pieces do nothing but demonize our people and keep racial stereo types alive and breathing though it's angry white man movement. Its main think tanks put out studies that conclude urban blacks and Latinos are prone to violence and failure because we are black and Latino and it is in our nature. Conservatism is poison to urban America. It's a safe haven for hate speech.

Hip Hop culture and conservatism is about as compatible as capitalism and christianity. You can and be a republican and listen to hip hop but please do not try and put the two together. Republicans know nothing about poverty in its modern form. As somebody who grew up in a single parent home, has been on public assistance, everything I'v heard republicans speak about poverty has been complete bullsh!t. You know nothing about poverty or urban America. Also capitalist individualism hurts us alot

As a person who describes himself like Cladio as a "Hip-Hop Republican" I like the thousands of other HHR's believe that our moral compass require helping those in need. As urban Republicans, we believe that any entitlement program should include metrics of proven success and should have as its ultimate aim the empowerment of the individual not the government. If the GOP is going to take its fight to urban America, it will need folks like Claudio.
