This version of "Caldonia" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Sunday, March 2nd. 2008 by Bob Dwyer's Hot Six during their annual visit.
With Bob on trombone, Bill Edmonds on trumpet, John Rayne on clarinet, alto and bass sax, Peter Clancy on bass, Nick Singer on banjo and Hugh Crozier on piano this was part of a superb session which showed the versatility of a truly entertaining band. Hugh Crozier is featured on piano and vocal in this number, very well backed by the rest of the band. Once again an excellent gig at the Harp where sessions are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Details from John or Marie Howell on 01902 756158 See us at www.jazzclub90.supanet.com
