RobAGD Dodge Magnum R/T 1/4 Mile Run 12.50's @ Englishtown

Englishtown track rental for a bunch of LX car owners ( 300's Magnums Chargers ). Lots of testing and tuning going on. Managed a day best of 12.42 1.72 60ft and 109.9 mph.

Well the orginal though was they cam was on the edge for the MDS lifter. Now the speculation is that it is doable. Now if you wanted to go crazy you could do the 09 5.7 MDS lifter that allow more even more lift and go with even bigger cam than the hellfire. Problem is going to the Torque managment on the enguagement of the MDS. On Heads and Cam cars it cam be a tad rough or jerkey but the tuning has gotten better on this aspect.

thats pretty quick, what all you got done to your magnum?

Frank Racing Street/Strip Heads, Frank Racing Hellfire Cam, AEM Mid Length Headers, Pro Torque 2800 Converter, Custom tuning, race weight was 4150#

A few other little things but that combo has now gone as quick as 12.04 at 115.5

Thats with a 275 40 17 Hoosier Drag Radial and Forged Ford Cobra wheels.

Thats pretty good compared to me, with the mods you've done to the head, did that get rid of the mds

NO Jeeps at that track rental :) I had to have someone take video for me. Never seems to happen for me at the track.
