nice orchestra. The choir should try to be as accurate and clear in intonation. The 'lux aeterna'-part is only enjoyable if it perfectly in tune, which isn't the case here. However, the orchestral conclusion is magnificent.

The tenors of Gardiner's Monteverdi Choir are the best in this moviment in my opinion

Ahh, this is one of my favorite movements of the Faure Requiem. My A Capella choir sang the entire thing in a concert last night... It was great. I love the alto parts.

the soprano lux at 2:02 sends shivers down my spine every time...and the harmonies afterwards are incredible.

When I first hear the introduction, I thought the same thing. I play this on the organ once in a while at a slower pace.

This is sweet. The USD orchestra and choir did this last year. I play the trombone, so I barely played, but it was still sweet.
