Just look at his face when performing this masterpiece...this man's glorious music got under my skin and hooked me way back in 1982 my last year at school in Edinburgh, Scotland. Today, some 30 years later I am still as speechless at this man's talent as I ever was. His music has been the soundtrack of my life, and touched me like no others has.

Bruce is the only rockstar with the balls who can perform un incredibly sad song and some power rock and roll song in the same concert with everyone enjoying it.
A sectacle of a performer.
Grazie Bruce!

I'll have to agree with you there, and see what you are saying. The Boss brings tears to my eyes, tears of intensity. The only other singer that can get me to have tears streaming down my cheeks is Bob Weir, and the Irony of that is,it's mostly when he covers Dylan like Masterpiece,Desolation ect.Of course Jerry tunes....Peace,I just thought you meant songwriting.Sorry my bad....

You are joking right? I find if you really like Bruce as a songwriter, then you have to like Dylan as a songwriter, and vica-versa.Just please listen to Dignity,Gotta Serve Somebody,Tangled Up In Blue,Desolation Row,besides I know your kiddin....

Great artist, great music, interprets the snapshot that is life, the reality far from the crap you see on TV. This is real stuff that happens in the lives of "real" people, the desperation, the bright beginnings, the dreadful dead-ends that our lives sometimes slam into. The stolen car is more of the metaphor that there is something we cling to to that we didn't earn or have a right to, but which we justify as a necessary prop, to help us get somewhere when our lives are a total "cluster".
