if you put stock vs stock muscle cars smoke imports.. mod vs mod same amount of money we'd beat a tuner car...

honestly you put a 400hp supra against a 400hp STOCK muscle car and the supra might win cause its probably got a fucking turbo.. turbo a muscle car vs a turbo supra i guarantee you the muscle will win.. i seen a bone stock hemi cuda with 4.10 gears run a 11 second 1/4 mile STOCK being the key word and it's worth over $1,000,000

Jap sports cars are not constructed in the same way, they were mainly made for great traction and a stock engine with alot of tuning possibilitys, that nova got the same tracktion as a hangar ship. Oh and btw, if you didnt know, the supra only got a straight 6. If u want to know what happens when Toyota makes a v12, search for *top secret supra*.

Funny thing is this nova had a 100 shot of nitrous and still lost.

ya thats funny cuz i thought 355ci SBC's were not torque monsters but high rpm motors? put a 406ci in there with 100 shot,4.11's, and a TH400 geared right w/9" ford rear and see if that supra even gets a good view of the tail lights as he rockets passed him

I actually wouldn't mind racing one from a stop. But it wouldn't rocket by me since I would just raise the boost. Ever seen the 1/4 times of a Supra with a big turbo at 30+psi?

i have to agree with cougar... if you want faster 1/4 mile times without a ton of power you usually get a ford rear end and a TH400
