Funny. I remember seeing this opening as a preview on a dvd ending with a guy in a suit standin next to a giant robot and me going "How dare you rip off BIG O! I hope Roger negotiates ya into the grave!" ..then me hitting the off switch and going to bed.

Isn't that a bit of a wide assumption? O.o I mean, suit next to a robot. It's basically NOTHING like Big O plot wise. That's like saying, "WHAT, MINI SKIRTS!? HOW DARE PARIS HILTON RIP OFF SAILOR MOON, I HOPE SHE FANSERVICES HER INTO THE GRAVE!" I love Big O, but it's really nothing like Dai Guard.

Yeah, you're right about that. Big O happened in a dark time in some city where everyone had no memories and slow moving giant mechs called Megadeuce were legend. Dai-guard..well, I have yet to watch it since you know, I heard of it when I was a kid and never got back to it...is a whole nother anime. But from wiki, I learned it has to do with paperwork and gettin sued and giant robots. Sort of like Phoenix Wright, but WITH ROBOTS!

ha ha, I wish XD It's alright, but I haven't seen it since I uploaded this video, which was 5 years ago. I saw Big O before I saw this, and I remember it better, so this clearly wasn't up to par in that sense >.> It's alright, but not spectacular.

i'm glad i got the whole show on dvd. it's an innocent little anime show but still enjoyable. the cool thing is that this isn't one of those flashy/highspeed/high power mecha animes where giant robots dance about at the touch of a button. here it's more realistic with hard teamwork to keep it moving and all the perks of being an advertising gimmick to damage claims.
