We have a long-running in-joke about the phrase "What are you doing here?" cropping up everywhere in TV shows. As we also both like Doctor Who, doing this seemed like a good idea.
The original (which went to the end of Eccleston) took seven months to make - Six to watch all the episodes and one to edit it together. I've since updated it to the end of the 2008 series.

Could someone made a video of Tom Baker's Doctor (and any others, I think also the 2nd, 6th, 7th, and 8th Doctors plus Harold Saxon) saying "Would you like a Jelly Baby?" I'd watch it! :)
eh im american and i like dr. who as it was made i wouldnt change a thing great show watched it religiously as a kid the movie wasnt as good as the series but it wasnt that bad.
McGann was a good Doctor and the TARDIS looked great, just didn't like the movie. I liked the new master much more than Roberts version. The new series has got a more British feel to it. It was like the 1990s movie was made to please yanks. the new series is there to please old fans plus a new generation.
Sigh. British Doctor, British expat producer, BBC oversight. As for old school fans being pleased by the new series, see my previous comments
If you think the TV Movie was "made to please yanks," trust me, you don't wanna know what American Who would be like. If anything, RTD's Who is more American, what with it's story structure, stupidity, and sapiness being taken from Buffy.. The new generation hasn't had a chance to see Doctor Who yet; hopefully Moffat wil rectify that.
