For me the two are great. Each one have their own grace and style of figthing in the Muay Thai. Yes Tony Jaa was trained in Muay Thai but he never dedicate to compete in real figthing so he is not exactly cualified to include him like a thai boxer in this clasification.
They should have a fight in Lumpini, Saenchai would slaughter Buakaw, he isn't even fighting Muay Thai rules. He fights in K-1 against people from rubbish martial arts or ones inferior to Muay Thai, Muay Thai being known as the dominant stand up martial art. Since Buakaw most of the time isn't fighting Thai boxers and Saenchai is, I reckon Saenchai is a better Thaiboxer, how many champions of Muay Thai has Buakaw has beaten - none
Saenchai makes fighters on Buakaw's level look like a joke...
Sure Buakaw was only second ranked at Lumpini, but he left early so would he be nr one otherwise? Who knows,he took good fighters Samranchai 96 Penang,Charlie Sor Chaitamin,Sakadpetch and plenty others so he was good and a upcommer But he was going to k1 instead, better money and fight abroad maybe seemed to be funnier. He had hes reasons iguess.Sakadpetch is a good fighter and lumpinichamp, before he got in to an argument with hes gym and what i understand hes retierd he was also on his way to k1
